Jordi Ribaudi was born in Igualada in 1968. He studied industrial design in Elisava in Barcelona.
In 1990, he was selected by COOB '92 to participate in the "Window" designing sports equipment for the 1992 Olympics. In 1992 he began working as a professional in Barcelona, in the "Invenio design workshop" where he collaborated until 1996.
Between 1993 and 1999 he was a professor at the Gaspar College of Arts in Igualada in the field of fashion design.
In 1996 he opened his own studio in Igualada, which provided product design services to various companies in furniture and lighting equipment.
In 2001 he was selected to participate in the exhibition "Spanish Product Design Exhibition" in New Delhi organized by ICEX and D.DI.
In early 2004 he founded the production company Noon Barcelona in Barcelona, he experimented and accommodated other designers in finding new ways to produce lighting fixtures.
In 2006 he began working on interior design projects, especially with the fashion designer Sita Murt.
In 2007 he started the restoration of an old fertilizer factory from 1850 that will become the headquarters of the study, and the center of creativity in the city of Igualada. In November 2009 he created Ribaudi group with other professionals. The initiative aim was to revitalize the neighborhood combining heritage, fashion and creativity.
