These Terms and Conditions apply to the use of this Website and by accessing Dusklights.co.uk and / or placing an order you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions set out below.

About us
Dusklights.co.uk is a trading division of Dusk Lights Ltd. You can find out more about us on the Homepage at our company Website www.dusklights.co.uk

Credit Card Security
When you make a purchase with Dusk Lights, our secure server encrypts all of your personal information, including name, address and credit card information. We use SagePay which are an industry leader in secure internet transactions. SagePay are used by thousands of other UK businesses for transaction security.
Once on the SagePay system, all sensitive data is secured using the same internationally recognised 256-bit encryption standards used by, among others, the US Government. The encryption keys are held on state-of-the-art, tamper proof systems in the same family as those used to secure VeriSign's Global Root certificate, making them all but impossible to extract. The data they hold is extremely secure and they are regularly audited by the banks and banking authorities to ensure it remains so.

Back Orders
If the item you order from our website is not in stock, we will notify you either by phone or email, and will give you option to either cancel your order or wait until the goods are back in stock.

Guarantee
Your satisfaction with our products is paramount. Dusk Lights offers a 7 day no quibble guarantee. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer (see returns policy).

Shipping and Handling
All orders over the value of £100 are delivered free of charge to the UK. For all other orders within the UK a standard delivery charge of £8.95 inc. VAT will be automatically added at the Checkout. Dusk Lights uses a third party courier or RoyalMail/Parcelforce for all deliveries and may require the customer to provide a signature on receipt of their order. For orders to Europe and the rest of the world, shipping costs will be incurred as detailed below.

·       Europe £18.99 plus VAT
·       Rest of the World £23.00 plus VAT

Delivery Policy
We aim to dispatch all orders within 3-7 working days of receipt, subject to payment clearance and stock availability. If we are unable to dispatch items within this time, the customer will be notified of the likely delivery date and given the option of proceeding with the order, or cancelling.

Tax Charges
All products sold on Dusklights.co.uk are inclusive of VAT. All prices shown are in line with the current UK rate.

Privacy Policy
Data collected by Dusklights.co.uk is used to:

·       Take and fulfil customer orders

·       Administer and enhance the site and service

·       Only disclose information to third parties for goods delivery purposes

Returns Policy
Before returning any goods to us, please contact Dusk Lights on This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .We will then issue you with a returns authorisation number.
All goods must be returned in their original condition with all of the original packaging within 7 days of receiving your order.
Dusk Lights will not pay for any unwanted goods to be returned. Goods may be returned by courier or by registered post, and this cost must be met by the customer.

Refunds
All products carry a 7 day money back policy. This does not apply to bespoke items or items made to your specification.
The product must not have been installed or modified in any way and must be returned in its original packaging complete with any bulbs / parts supplied with it.
We reserve the right to refuse refunds should they not meet the above criteria.
We only refund the price of the item once it has been received by Dusk Lights.
Delivery charges will only be refunded in the event of incorrect, damaged or faulty goods being supplied by Dusk Lights.
Once the goods have been returned to Dusk Lights please allow up to 5 working days for the refund to be issued.

Faulty Merchandise
The customer must notify Dusk Lights within 7 days of receipt of any damages, faults or incomplete fittings. After this period of time, Dusk Lights cannot accept responsibility.
Faulty or damaged goods will be replaced or refunded in full, depending on the customers’ requirements.
If only part of the item is damaged / faulty Dusk Lights will send out a replacement for that part. In the event that a part cannot be supplied, the complete item will be replaced.
Dusk Lights will pay for return carriage of damaged or faulty goods.
Regarding damaged or faulty goods Dusk Lights will not be held liable for any related costs incurred by the customer, for example, Electricians fees, loss of earnings etc.

Product
All products conform to British standards. All dimensions and descriptions are accurate to the best of our knowledge.

Installation
A qualified electrician must install all products supplied. Incorrect installation will void your products 1-year guarantee, and may pose a danger to you and others. We will not accept liability for any personal injury due to improper installation or use. We will not be held liable for any electrician charges that result from a faulty light fitting.

Warranty
All products carry a minimum 1-year warranty (with the exception of light bulbs) with Dusk Lights unless otherwise stated.
In the event of a fault occurring the product will be repaired or replaced depending on the nature of the fault. The warranty applies to electrical components only and is void if deemed that the item has been incorrectly fitted or been used in a manner not intended for the purpose supplied.

Many thanks, product arrived safely. I had seen the downlighter before so was reasonably aware of what was coming. Not fitted yet but I assume this will be straight forward for our electrician. Main reason for responding is to thank you for sourcing the item which had been proving difficult to get [for 4 no. at least] also thanks for taking the time to take one of the downlighters and determine whether the terminal block could be reversed to give a little more clearance in the ceiling void
