Very nice shades, it is difficult to see the colour on the images on all websites, they are a rich gold colour. However I am more impressed with the service I received. I ordered the same shades with another company and found out 3 weeks later that they did not have them in stock after much chasing. I ordered them from dusk and they arrived the next day. After on online chat with a helpful advisor, good facility on the website. When the shades arrived one was damaged. Dusk arranged for a new one to go out the next day. Excellent. Before purchasing I was dubious about all of the positive comments thinking that maybe they were fake, however now I understand why there are so many great comments.

I ordered late evening, leaving a message saying I needed the light urgently. I was called at 9am next day to ask if a free next day delivery was ok as they wanted to ensure I would be in. I had also asked about light bulbs, and they were able to add these to my order without any hassle. I discovered Dusk Lights through a search on the internet for battery-powered kitchen cabinet lights. I was travelling the next day to stay with my elderly mother for a few days and was planning to buy and fit some in her kitchen while I was there, but up to that point knew nothing at all about what was available. I rang up to see if their product was suitable for my mother's needs - a switch that was easy to operate even with poor sensitivity in the fingertips, simple for a care helper to change the batteries, solid enough when mounted not to fall off (a problem with velcro'd solutions) and was put through to a very helpful engineer. This person quickly understood my application and provided enough information (type of fitting, length of screws, size of unit etc) to convince me. I then spoke with the Sales lady, who offered to take the parcel to the post office herself in order to get a "next-day delivery" service to my mother's address. The next day I was pleasantly surprised to see a Royal Mail van pull up outside my mother's house at 8.30am with my parcel. Needless to say the product was exactly what I wanted and the light units were fitted and in use by the end of the day. Thank you for a very good, personal service.
